Email Setup:

MS Outlook Express ^

  1. Start Outlook express.  (Start / Programs / Internet Explorer / Outlook Express).
  2. Select Tools from the menu bar.
  3. Go to Accounts.
  4. Click on the Mail Tab at the top.
  5. Click ADD on the right side, and click Mail.
  6. The first screen will ask you for a "Display Name".  This is the name that everyone sees  when they  receive mail from you.
  7. Enter your name then click next to proceed. (i.e. John Smith).
  8. Enter  your email address then click next. (i.e. john@cyberonic.com).
  9. Make sure Pop3 is selected and enter email server names. For both incoming and outgoing mail enter: mail.cyberonic.com
  10. Click Next.
  11. Make sure "Log on using"  button is marked.
  12. Enter your email user name and password. Click Next.
  13. Enter a name in which you would like to refer to this profile. Finally. It is recommended that you use your username. This is what will be displayed in the "Accounts Box". Click Next.
  14. Next choose, "Connect using my phone line". Click Next.
  15. If you already configured your dial-up networking for Cyberonic, select "Use an existing dial-up connection" and choose Cyberonic.

THAT IS ALL.

Repeat above to add additional email accounts.

 

MS Exchange/Outlook ^

  1. After installing exchange a new icon will be on your desktop. Double click on this icon to start the configuration process.
  2. Choose No to "Have you used Microsoft Exchange before?" and click Next.
  3. Select Internet mail and click on the Next button.
  4. Select Modem and click on the next button.
  5. Select Cyberonic Online for your modem dialup selection and click Next.
  6. Select to enter a Mail Server name, then enter mail.cyberonic.com.
  7. Click in the Next button.
  8. Select Automatic to receive messages when you launch Exchange. Click on Next.
  9. Now enter your Email address and your real name. Click on Next to continue.
  10. Enter your username and your password.
  11. Keep the default location for Personal Address Book and click Next.
  12. Again, Keep the default location for Personal Folders and click on Next.
  13. Choose "Do not add Inbox to the StartUp group" and click Next.
  14. You have now completed the installation and configuration of Microsoft Exchange.
  15. Click on Finish. And you are done.

Repeat above to add additional email accounts.

 

Netscape 4.5 Mail ^

  1. Start Netscape Communicator.
  2. Select Preferences. from the Edit menu.
  3. Expand Mail & Groups.
  4. Click on Identity.
  5. Enter your identity information under Identity:
  6. Click on Mail Server.
  7. Click Add.
  8. Enter your mail server user name.
  9. For both SMTP and POP3 servers enter: mail.cyberonic.com
  10. Select POP3 for mail server type.
  11. Click on Groups Server.
  12. Enter news.cyberonic.com for  Discussion groups (news) server.
  13. The port stays at 119 and do NOT check Secure.
  14. Click Ok and you are done.

 

Netscape 4.0x Mail ^

  1. Start Netscape Communicator.
  2. Select Preferences.. from the Edit menu.
  3. Expand Mail & Groups.
  4. Click on Identity.
  5. Enter your identity information under Identity.
  6. Click on Mail Server
  7. Enter your mail server user name.
  8. For both SMTP and POP3 servers enter: mail.cyberonic.com
  9. Select POP3 for mail server type.
  10. Click on Groups Server.
  11. Enter news.cyberonic.com for  Discussion groups (news) server.
  12. The port stays at 119 and do NOT check Secure.
  13. Click Ok and you are done.

 

Netscape 3.0 Mail ^

  1. Start Netscape.
  2. Select Mail and News Preferences from the Options menu.
  3. Click the Servers tab.
  4. For both SMTP and POP3 servers enter: mail.cyberonic.com
  5. Select POP3 for mail server type.
  6. Click on Groups Server.
  7. Enter news.cyberonic.com for  Discussion groups (news) server.
  8. The port stays at 119 and do NOT check Secure.
  9. Click Ok and you are done.
